Problem
Checking out an object in IBM Rational ClearCase whose path includes a component that is a symbolic link fails with the error, CRMAP7009: CCRC command "WriteProperties" failed.
Cause
Checkout paths that include symbolic links are not supported.
Resolving The Problem
Specify a path that does not include any symbolic links as components.
