Abstract
Starting from Version 8.2.2, IMS Server Fix Pack 6, you can forward audit log records to audit log files. See the changes that this feature adds to the product documentation.

- Log on to the IMS Configuration Utility.
- Navigate to Advanced Settings > IMS Server > Logging > File log.
- Complete the following fields:
Option
Description
Enable file log
Specify the list of tables for the Audit log files.
The available tables are:

- logSystemManagementActivity
- logUserAdminActivity
- logUserService
- logUserActivity
Select a table and then click Add.
To remove a table from the list, click Remove.
Maximum file size(MB)
Enter the integer value for the maximum size of a log file in MB.
Number of files to keep
Enter the integer value for the maximum number of rollover files that are kept.
File format
Select the log file format.
The available log file formats are:
- JSON
- key=value
File log field-separator
Enter the separator character to be used to separate fields in a key=value file format. This field is valid only if you have selected key=value file format.

Use the IMS Configuration Utility to specify the type of log server that is used by the IMS Server. The log server types are rdb, syslog and filelog.
Procedure
- Log on to the IMS Configuration Utility.
- Navigate to Advanced Settings > IMS Server > Logging > Log server information.
- Complete the following field:

Specify the type of log server that is used as the IMS Server log data store. |
- Click Add.
- Click Update.
