Error description
In IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.12, two replication job sessions from the same SLA can be started concurrently. Running concurrent replication job sessions from the SLA can cause resource contention, where both job session compete to use the same storage or cloud resources, or access the same source data to be replicated, and the job sessions may interfere with one another. This concurrency can cause one or both replication jobs to fail or only partially complete. Affected Versions: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.12
Local fix
Adjust the schedule for replication jobs to ensure that replication job sessions from the same SLA do not overlap. Do not start replication job session manually while scheduled replication job session is currently running. Pause schedule for replication jobs for an SLA when a replication job session is already running for the SLA.

Problem conclusion
Prior to IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.13, a scheduled job could start even though a job of the same job type and SLA (i.e., a hpyervisor replication job from the same SLA) was manually started and was still running. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus 10.1.13 now prohibits a duplicate job from running and will result in the duplicate job failing. Note that this prohibition does not apply to ad hoc jobs, which can still be run in parallel.
