IT42085: MAINTENANCE JOB TASK 13 ENDS WITH STATUS FAILED WITHOUT CLEAR REASON

Error description

• The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus maintenance job task 13
  (cleanup of catalog backups) fails without an explanatory
  message as seen in the job log :
  
  INFO,<timestamp>,13,CTGGA0805,Starting maintenance task 13 for
                                policy type Catalog Protection.
  ...
  INFO,<timestamp>,13,CTGGA0806,Maintenance task 13 completed for
                                policy type Catalog Protection in
                                0 and ended with status FAILED.
  
  In this case, the observed root cause was a stale archive
  session on the vSnap.
  
  For such a scenario, the correct messaging in the job log is as
  follows:

Problem conclusion

• Maintenance Task status 13 will not Fail when there is an
  archive and offload snapshot being deleted has an active data
  transfer session for catalog backup job cleanup.
