APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • There is a defect in the ODBC driver that was updated in
2018.4.1.20 / 10.0.1.7 that causes the binding of an assigned
parameter to fail to convert the time data (specifically in
TO_TIMESTAMP_TZ()).

This issue is being addressed by the ODBC driver team whom will
provide a fix in the form of a driver that will be added in to
the DataPower fixpacks.

Local fix

  • Use the data type "TIMESTAMP(6) WITH TIME ZONE" instead to
work-around the behavior.
