Error description
The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus appliance stops and is inaccessible. Rebooting the appliance and looking the filesystems occupancy, /data2 is seen to be full because of having a lot of data in /data2/uploads. This can happen when expired information is not cleaned up as expected by the Maintenance job despite the expected delete operation messages being observed in the virgo log (located in /opt/virgo/serviceability/logs) : [<TimeStamp>] INFO .. NativeDir file path is ::: /data2/uploads/<JobIdReferenceToCleanUp>. [<TimeStamp>] INFO .. Delete native Dir for upload directory. This APAR applies when seeing the /data2/uploads/<JobIdReferenceToCleanUp> folders displayed in the virgo log are still being present on the /data2 filesystem after the Maintenance job completion. Local fix
1. Ensure no job is active and pause all jobs to prevent a restart. 'Jobs and Operations' -> select 'Schedule' tab -> click on 'Pause All Schedules' 2. When the above is di-one and validated, delete everything found in /data2/uploads on the appliance. 3. Resume schedules : 'Jobs and Operations' -> select 'Schedule' tab -> click on 'Release All Schedules'

Problem conclusion
This problem has been fixed so that when errors are encountered in Hypervisor file catalog, folders/files uploaded to /data2/uploads are cleaned up.
