IT41343: ACTIVE RESTORES FAIL TO CANCEL WHEN ESXI HOSTS ARE REPLACED.

APAR status

Error description

• When restore jobs have resources active as part of the restore
  job, they still appear on the Jobs screen. If these jobs are of
  application servers stored on ESXi hosts as virtual machines,
  the operator of the underlying ESXi host could potentially
  vMotion them to another ESXi host.  When this happens, there is
  no clean way to remove the resource active status in the IBM
  Spectrum Copy Data Management user interface.

Problem conclusion

• A fix has been implemented to enhance how Spectrum Copy Data
  Management handles ESX host clusters. When a new host is added
  to a cluster in VMware, Spectrum Copy Data Management will
  correctly add this new host in its VM catalog.
