Configuring the Rational DOORS database server to communicate

You must configure the Rational® DOORS® database server to communicate with the Rational DOORS Web Access broker and the Rational DOORS Web Access server.

You configure the Rational DOORS database server to communicate with the Rational DOORS Web Access broker and server by adding parameters to the command line.

To communicate with the Rational DOORS Web Access broker, you add Data Change Notifications (DCN) parameters to the command line. DCNs are messages that contain information about changes made to Rational DOORS data.

To communicate with the Rational DOORS Web Access server, you add the –dwaProtocol, –dwaHost, and –dwaPort parameters.
