After you configure an IBM® Enterprise
Records file plan object store
(FPOS), there are a few workflow tasks you can complete.
About this task
You can configure workflows by configuring a connection point
and component queues. You can also transfer IBM Enterprise
Records workflows definitions
from the FPOS to the Process Engine or Content Platform Engine. Procedure
To transfer workflows by using Configuration Manager:
Important: Before you complete the following task, complete
the subtopics under the topic entitled Configuring Workflows and
then return to this step.
- Complete the Configure Workflows task. Before you complete the Transfer Workflows task,
you must configure a connection point to the region and configure
the component queues for IBM Enterprise
Records workflows.
- This task creates a code module that contains a list of JAR files
that are needed for the component queues operations for IBM Enterprise
Records workflows.
- This task checks in the code module to the object store of the
connection point in the CodeModules folder.
- This task also imports the operations into the component queues
of the specified connection point by using the RMComponentConfiguration.xml file
in the specified workflow configuration directory. For example, you
might use the file in the EnterpriseRecords\Workflow\configureRMworkflow directory.
- This task sets the JAAS credentials with the user name and password
for the RM_Operations and RM_Workflow_Util component queues.
- This task sets the server base URL for IBM Enterprise
Records and IBM Content
Navigator web applications.
Important: Complete this task to configure IBM Enterprise
Records workflows for Content Platform Engine V5.2 to use the current
version of IBM FileNet® P8Component
Manager. If you want to configure the workflows to use an earlier
version of IBM FileNet P8 Component
Manager (legacy Component Manager), you must complete different configuring
workflows.
- Finish the Complete the Transfer Workflows task. The workflows must be transferred before they can be run. An
FPOS and a Connection Point to the region must be specified.
