Additional information can be coded in the PARM parameter of the
EXEC statement, as follows:
Label |
Statement |
Parameters |
//[stepname]
|
EXEC
|
PGM=IEBUPDTE
[,PARM='{NEW|MOD}
[,inhdr][,intlr]']
|
where:
- PGM=IEBUPDTE
- specifies that IEBUPDTE is the program you want to run.
- PARM='{NEW|MOD}
[,inhdr][,intlr]'

labels for the control data set.
If only one value is coded in PARM, the single quotes
(or parentheses) are optional.
