When using a federated repository, if the IBM® Business Monitor server is configured
to receive events from a remote common event infrastructure (CEI)
server, and the remote CEI server is a network deployment server,
then you must specify a server identity to enable communication between
the local server and the remote server.
About this task
To specify a server identity using the administrative console,
complete the following steps:
Procedure
- From the administrative console navigation panel, click .
- Under User account repository, verify that the Current
realm definition is set to Federated repositories.
- Under Available realm definitions, select
Federated repositories and then click Configure.
- Under Server user identity, select Server identity
that is stored in the repository.
- In the Server user ID field, enter a user ID that exists
in both the local cell and the remote cell. Leave the Password field
blank.
- Click Apply.
- Click Save to save the changes to
the master configuration.
- Restart the server.
