Configuring the IBM Content Navigator web application

When you upgrade IBM® Content Navigator, you must update yourIBM Content Navigator deployment to specify information that the Configuration and Deployment Tool uses when it creates the IBM Content Navigator web application.

About this task

The Configure the IBM Content Navigator Web Application task includes information that is used when you rebuild the IBM Content Navigator web.xml file.

If you are upgrading from IBM Content Navigator, Version 2.0.1, the Configure the IBM Content Navigator Web Application task includes a new authentication parameter. It also includes information that was previously displayed on the Build the Web Application task, including the following fields:

The Schema name field
The JDBC data source name field

Procedure

To configure the IBM Content Navigator web application:

Open the following task in the profile: Configure the IBM Content Navigator Web Application.
Tip: If you are running the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool as a wizard, click Next until you reach the Build the Web Application task.
Complete the task by using the values that you entered in the Worksheet for configuring the IBM Content Navigator web application.
Click Next to run the task.
If you are manually running the tasks in the IBM Content Navigator Configuration and Deployment Tool, click Run Task.
