You can update Jazz™ for
Service Management either
from Version 1.1 or a later fix pack to Jazz for
Service Management Version 3.1.2.1 by
using Installation
Manager GUI
mode. Choose the Installation
Manager silent
mode, if your target machine does not have a browser or a graphical
environment.
About this task
Attention: Applying the
fix pack, uninstalls any previously installed interim fixes.
Procedure
- Repeat this procedure on
each machine on which the following integration services are installed:

Manager in

In a command window, open the /opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse directory
and run ./IBMIM.

- Set up the fix pack repository preference.
- Select .
- In the panel, click Add
Repository.
- Click Browse and browse to the
following location and file: JazzSM_Image_Home/JazzSMRepository/disk1/diskTag.inf
- Click OK.
- Click OK to close the panel.
- On the Installation
Manager home
page, click Update. The Installation
Manager > Update Packages window opens.
- Select the Jazz for
Service Management software
package group in which the integration services are installed, for
example, Core services for Jazz for
Service Management; click Next. The Update
Packages > Updates panel opens.
- Select each check box associated with each installed component
that you want to update, and click Next. The Update Packages > Licenses panel
opens.
- Review the license agreement for the software packages
as required, and accept the terms, and click Next.
The Update Packages > Features panel opens.
- Select the features that you want to update, and click Next.
Important: If you clear any feature for the integration
service that you want to update, the configuration for the service
might be removed.
- If required, specify the configuration details for WebSphere Application Server
profile for Jazz for
Service Management,
validate, and click Next.
- Continue with the installation and specify the configuration
details for the integration service that you want to update as required.

- In the Update Packages > Summary panel,
review the software packages that you want to install and click Update.
After Installation
Manager updates
the fix pack, it displays a message.
