Getting fixes
Learn how to obtain and install fixes for the system firmware and fixes for the I/O adapter firmware.
To obtain system firmware fixes, see Getting firmware fixes from the Fix Central website.
To install system firmware fixes:
- If your system is an 8335-GTC or 8335-GTW, use the Updating the system firmware by using the xCAT procedure to update the system firmware.
- If your system is an 8335-GTG, use the Updating the system firmware by using the OpenBMC tool procedure to update the system firmware.
- If your system is an 8335-GTH or 8335-GTX, use one of the following procedures to update the system
firmware:
- To update the system firmware by using the Hardware Management Console (HMC), see Change Licensed Internal Code.
- To update the system firmware by using the OpenBMC GUI, see Firmware.
- To update the system firmware by using the OpenBMC tool, see Updating the system firmware by using the OpenBMC tool.
