Abstract
Upgrading to a 32-bit version of 11.50.xC6 from a previous 32-bit version of 11.50 or
upgrading to a 64-bit version of 11.50.xC6 from a previous 64-bit version of 11.50 can lead to memory corruption and assertion failures in certain situations.

APAR IC65787 is used to track this issue. It contains the details of the problem, a workaround, and the resolution.
IDS 11.50.xC6W1 contains the fix for this problem and should be used as a replacement for IDS 11.50.xC6. If you upgrade to 11.50.xC6W1 from any other version of 11.50 except 11.50.xC6, then you will not see this problem. IDS 11.50.xC6W1 is available for download from Fix Central:

Note: This problem does not occur if you upgrade to a 64-bit version of 11.50.xC6 from a previous 32-bit version of 11.50.
