Problem
This technote identifies an issue that can occur in IBM Rational ClearQuest Web. When trying to view printable version of a record, nothing happens. A JavaScript warning also occurs.
Symptom
When pressing the Printable Version button on a record, nothing happens. No printable view is generated. You also receive a JavaScript warning:
Error: 'window' is null or not an object
You do not experience this problem when viewing a printable view of the query result set.
Cause
This issue was identified as a product defect under APAR PK89466.
Environment
This problem occurs in ClearQuest versions 7.0.0.6, 7.0.0.7, 7.0.1.5, and 7.0.1.6.
Resolving The Problem
This defect is fixed starting in ClearQuest 7.0.1.7 and 7.0.0.8. Upgrade to the latest version to resolve this issue.
