How to become a supplier to IBM Step 1

As the first step in the process, it is imperative that you make sure that your company complies with the principles and conditions outlined in the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct (link resides outside of ibm.com) before applying to become a supplier to IBM.

Step 2

Submit an online request with your company profile, current Dun & Bradstreet report (link resides outside of ibm.com), or the last 3 years’ financial statement and explain how you can provide world-class service but note that this doesn't guarantee IBM supplier status.

Step 3

Upon receiving your profile, financial information and write-up, an IBM sourcing team member will contact you. If you qualify as an IBM supplier, you will receive an invitation to register in our network, which includes accepting our terms and conditions and completing a questionnaire(s).

Step 4

If your company qualifies as a minority supplier, we recommend that you refer to Supplier Diversity to determine eligibility and to register as a diverse supplier. Proceed with step 4 only if you have successfully completed step 3 and have become an IBM supplier.
